Roles & Objectives 

As an Intern you will be part of our External Labs Team for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. and will be reporting to the Manager External Laboratories Development. The position will be based in Bologna. 

In your role, you will join the External Labs Team managing Laboratories that are PMI suppliers around the world, interfacing with different cultures and ways of working. 

 

Specific Responsibilities: 

 

  • Support the team in managing quality and analysis requests 

  • Support and dealing with other PMI affiliates on specific quality requests (global projects) 

  • Participate in daily coordination meetings 

  • Support the team in maintaining timeliness and clear communication with partners 

  • Support the team in data collection and review 

  • Learning LIMS usage 

  • Learning ISO 17025/Quality Management system principles 

 

 

 

Who we’re looking for  

 

  • High school degree or bachelor’s degree in scientific fields (i.e. chemistry, biology, engineering) 

  • Literacy in Office Suite 

  • Fluent in English and in Italian 

  • Ability to work alone, in team and to engage with multi-functional stakeholders
