Process Support Operator - Protected Category by Law 68/99.
Your ‘day to day’:
As Process Support Operator you will be part of our Manufacturing department for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. and will be reporting to the Supervisor Technical Services. The position will be based in Zola Predosa (Bologna).
In your role you will ensure all the standards related to the review of the production batches are respected along the production process and provide support to quality and production teams to analyze non-conformities and identify opportunities for improvement. Perform a critical review of the production batch records performed, while managing non-conformities of intermediate and finished products and related corrective and preventive actions taken. Provide reports and technical support to relevant departments in relation to quality performance and product quality assessment in line with QMS procedures.
Your Responsibilities:
-Ensure the continuous and reliable recovery of the assigned markets, respecting the priorities, fix minor quality and operational problems with the aim of reaching / exceeding the planned recovery planned KPI.
-Analyze process problems by identifying the root cause and defining system actions with the aim of total elimination of loss.
-Ensure the execution of the manufacturing review process.
-Check all production activities, checks, cleaning with accuracy and integrity, in available documents and in accordance with applicable procedures (for example logbook, database, tracking file, etc.).
-Ensure accurate compilation of Batch Record and Master Batch Record during production.
-Report any errors on review controls (documents, consumption) and involve the production team in correcting non-conformities.
-Analyze and solve the main anomalies and deviations on the Batch record process and quality problems performing a root cause analysis (IPS) of such situations.
-Record all failure and non-conformities about Batch record process in the system computerized.
-Verify that the product arriving from manufacturing department complies with quality standards.
-Demonstrate flexibility and agility according to different market requirements.
-Depending on demand and needs, provide support and carry out additional quality checks for additional requests from support support services.
-Guarantee the correct traceability documentation of the product and of all the checks carried out.
-Support the production team in the creation and review of the batch documentation, providing information on data and records management.
-Ensure that production batch registration and batch release have accurate, complete, reviewed and archived records online with PMI guidelines and QMS requirements.
-Guarantee the complete archiving of all paper material used for tracking the POs produced and reviewed.
-Provide all the relevant information for manageable execution of the production in/between the teams, as well as to the support group and Line structure, in order to ensure a proper monitoring of the issues encountered and share experiences and knowledge for continuously increase skills and experience.
-Communicate all the relevant information for the smooth flow of the review process to interested colleagues and support teams in order to satisfy productivity and quality.
-Support internal training to production employees, as an expert subject in the field of OP auditor, in order to enhance their overall level of quality awareness.
-Analyze the performance of the audit and suggest improvements by applying lean methodologies and tools through a problem-solving oriented approach, respecting the Change Management procedure.
-Propose ideas, participate and/or guide the implementation of solutions to improve audit quality and/or efficiency. Identify actions for continuous quality product improvement to meet customer requirements.
-Monitor turnaround results through the analysis of qualitative data by using computer systems in order to propose workarounds for auditing improvement.
-Monitor the recovery results and qualitative data through the use of IT systems in order to propose alternative solutions for process improvement.
-Keep your workplace and surrounding area clean and tidy and dispose waste in accordance with relevant procedures cleaning by applying the 5S rules in daily.
-Keep recovery equipment and surrounding areas clean, sort and arrange waste according with procedures. Carry out recovery equipment and tools cleaning activities in accordance with the plan.
-Participate in the cleaning and storage activities of the material in the area in order to guarantee the expected level of safety and quality and therefore avoid accidents and quality incidents on products.
-Promote and apply all rules concerning quality, environment, health and safety of SMEs.
-Report all situations that require action in order to minimize or eliminate exposure to risks for employers, company assets and social impacts and be in line with any legal requirement applicable and with company standards.
Who we’re looking for:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-At least 2 years of experience in Manufacturing or Quality roles, with a focus on machine operation and documentation.
-Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
-Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
-Fluency in Italian is mandatory.
