Roles & Objectives
As an intern, you will join the Technical Service Department of Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A., reporting directly to the Process Support Supervisor.
The position is based in Bologna (Zola Predosa).
In this role, you will work within the process support team, collaborate closely with the R&D function, and contribute to loss-elimination initiatives through effective problem‑solving and robust process control, helping the organization achieve its business objectives.
Specific Responsibilities
- Ensure that process and machinery standards are sustainable, clearly defined, and properly documented.
- Collaborate with technical staff to monitor, analyze, and propose actions based on key performance indicators, ensuring processes operate at optimal levels.
- Identify gaps or missing links within the process and work with the appropriate stakeholders in manufacturing and prototyping to ensure timely and effective resolution.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree, and preferably a Master’s degree, in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial/Management Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Control Engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially advanced Excel); knowledge of Power BI is considered a plus.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Advanced level of English.
- High motivation for growth and learning.
- Action-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving attitude.
