Roles & Objectives
As an Intern you will be part of our Quality Control Center of Excellence (CoE) for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. and will be reporting to Manager QA CoE Laboratory Footprint. The position will be based in Bologna.
In your role, you will join the Quality Control (CoE) team supporting the operational Laboratories network in the Combustible Cigarette (CC) business segment through continuous improvement based on a data-driven approach aimed at optimizing testing processes.
Specific Responsibilities:

Collect, analyse process and testing data to identify improvement opportunities;

Collaborate cross-functionally to implement data-backed process enhancements;

Support the team with the data collection, management and standardization;

Support the design and rollout of a Cost of Testing framework;

Support the maintenance of the functional databases and dashboard;

Support the preparation of KPI using PMI tools and reporting solutions;

Acquire knowledge of internal documents & data through operational tools;

Supporting senior staff with daily and ad hoc tasks by using various tools.
Who we’re looking for
-
Fluency in English and in Italian is mandatory, and will be tested throughout the interview process;
- Degree in Engineering (preferred Management or Chemical Engineering), Chemistry or related fields;
- Literacy in Office Suite & Data management system (PowerBi, SAP, LIMS);
- Ability to work autonomously, in a team and to engage with multi-functional stakeholders;
- Quick learners with good interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
