Roles & Objectives

As an intern in the Testing Technology department at Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A., you will report to the one of the Engineers within the team, and be based in our R&D center near Bologna.

In this role, you will join the Digital Testing Engineering team, assisting in development and testing of new digital solutions for Lab and Manufacturing environments. Your responsibilities will include analysing and collecting requirements from Internal teams on their needs, in order to develop and maintain corresponding digital applications.  

Specific Responsibilities:

• Conduct analysis and prepare technical requirements for digital use cases;

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate new digital solutions;

• Develop and integrate these solutions;

• Maintain and improve the solutions based on user feedback.

Who we’re looking for: 

• Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics;

• Experience in Software Development and Application Delivery;

• Fluency in English and Italian is a must, interviews may be conducted in both languages;

• Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and engage with internal stakeholders;

• High analytical skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities;

• Data analytics and data visualization skills;

• Critical thinking and out-of-the-box thinking.
