Roles & Objectives
As an Intern in the Testing Technology Department at Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A., you will report to the Sr. Engineer Testing Technology and be based in our R&D Center in Zola Predosa (BO).

In this role, you will join the Team, assisting scientists, labs, and manufacturing teams in analyzing data from production and laboratory processes. Your responsibilities will include developing dashboards, generating reports, and providing actionable insights to support research, development, and manufacturing optimization.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources including production and lab systems;
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate key metrics and trends;
• Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven solutions into workflows;
• Develop and implement new testing technologies and methodologies;
• Conduct experiments and tests to validate new testing technologies;
• Analyse test data and provide insights for further improvements;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new testing technologies into existing processes.

Who we’re looking for:

The ideal candidate should have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM fields;
• Proficiency in Python programming language;
• Experience in data analysis, dashboards, data representation, and reporting;
• Proficiency in Office Suite;
• Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and engage with internal stakeholders;
• High analytical skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities;
• Data analytics and data visualization skills;
• Critical thinking and out-of-the-box thinking;
• Fluency in English is mandatory, and will be tested throughout the interview process.
