Your 'day to day'

 

As a Product Data Integration Engineer, you will conduct Data integration and engineering projects / activities to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of our data across various systems and applications, collaborate with Data Integration team to improve and ensure data quality aspect implemented within system integration pipeline, design, implement, and lead data quality monitoring and validation processes to ensure high data standards, develop and maintain data quality rules and definitions in collaboration with business and technical teams, develop, build and maintain the knowledge of each data layers used to ensure consistency and cohesion within the data, as well as collaborate with multi-functional teams to implement data quality improvements.

 

More specifically, you'll

 

•    Design, implement, and lead data quality monitoring and validation processes to ensure high data standards, identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, investigate and resolve data quality issues, including root cause analysis and the implementation of fixes, develop automated data quality testing and reporting solutions.

•   Develop and maintain data quality rules and definitions in collaboration with business and technical teams, collaborate with multi-functional teams to define data quality rules meeting business needs and regulatory standards, implement defined data quality rules, monitor data not meeting quality rules and trigger corrective actions.

•    Develop, build and maintain the knowledge of each data layers used to ensure consistency and cohesion within the data, understand data model and data layer structure and content, coach data consumers to enable them to understand the relationship between their functional requirements and the data quality requirements, support the development of data models and databases with a focus on data quality, create and maintain documentation for data quality artifacts, processes, and procedures.

•    Collaborate with multi-functional teams to implement data quality improvements, provide Quality Analysis team with updated information about the quality of their data of interest, support and participate in Process Integration projects, provide data quality training and support to other teams as needed.

 

Who we're looking for

 

•    University engineering degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Technical related field. Further qualification in Data Science or similar field.

•    Minimum 1 year experience in data engineering role, ideally within the consumer goods industry. Experience in data quality management is a strong advantage.

•    Sound analytical and monitoring Skills (Descriptive, Diagnostic), with data visualization. Ability to analyze & Interpret Heterogeneous and Complex Data. Complex investigations coupled with documenting & report writing.

•     SQL, SnowFlake, Python expertise is mandatory. PowerBI, Spark, AWS knowledge is an advantage.

•     Fluent in English (verbally and written).
