TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’

  • Asset Strategy & Lifecycle Management
  • Maintain and continuously update the asset register; integrate new equipment with required risk assessments and full documentation that meets legal and internal standards.
  • Ensure machine documentation is complete, controlled, and available.
  • Own the machine standardization plan linked to process improvements, rigorously applying Change Management.
  • Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
  • Lead maintenance planning and scheduling to maximize equipment availability.
  • Ensure maintenance processes and data are captured in SAP/CMMS and logbooks with accuracy and discipline.
  • Coordinate with Production and Engineering to prepare technical specifications for new machinery; review and authorize purchase documentation to meet best practices for equipment, ergonomics, and business requirements.
  • Reliability Engineering & Loss Elimination
  • Develop and/or refine proactive, costeffective maintenance strategies (e.g., TBM/CBM/PdM) using suitable techniques and procedures.
  • Analyze frequent downtimes, conduct rootcause analysis, and implement sustainable countermeasures to eliminate or drastically reduce losses.
  • Review the reliability of equipment that is difficult, costly, or safetyrisky to maintain and recommend the right technical and economic actions.
  • Technology Ownership & External Interfaces
  • Create and maintain master data, monitor data integrity, and drive changes where needed.
  • Own one technology for the total site/crossBUs; participate at the early design stage for new technologies.
  • Act as SPOC for CoE & OEM, serve as VSU team member, and contribute to the Technology Owners community at regional/global level.
  • Lead Reapplication Management (RM) for the owned technology, ensuring effective benchmarking and reuse of proven solutions.
  • Cost & Inventory Management
  • Build and manage the annual maintenance and spareparts budgets with maintenance supervisors and production; ensure timely, proper execution.
  • Define spareparts requirements and set minmax stock levels across equipment, balancing availability and cost.
  • Participate in supplier scouting to identify improvements in cost, quality, and service.
  • Technical Governance, Compliance & Safety Culture
  • Ensure compliance with EHS/Sustainability and all corporate/legal standards, preventing personnel, asset, or societal loss.
  • Promote an interdependent, transparent safety culture that favors preventive/predictive approaches aligned with OPEN+/IOS.
  • Uphold documentation quality (standards, specifications, approvals) and enforce disciplined governance for new machinery purchases and changes.
  • Collaboration, Capability Building & Ways of Working
  • Communicate losselimination priorities, plans, and responsibilities in a timely manner to secure crossfunctional alignment.
  • Act as a Pillar Member; partner with the Line Lead to implement standard work processes (e.g., PM, Breakdown Elimination).
  • Ensure self and teamqualification through stepup cards per IOS/OPEN+, enabling autonomous/selfsufficient teams.
  • Coach and deliver onthejob training to build preventive/predictive skills, technical mastery, and troubleshooting capability.
  • Take ownership of your training plan and comply with the Qualification Matrix.

 

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 4 years of experience in production/maintenance/engineering
  • Work experience in an international company is preferred
  • Clear & strong communication skills
  • Fluent in Korean and English
  • Proficiency with MS Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with SAP/CMMS for maintenance processes and master data (preferred).
