THE OPPORTUNITY
The Senior Brand Engagement Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the Brand Engagement strategy across Plug‑Ins, Festivals, and the HoReCa/LAMP channel, with the goal of amplifying brand visibility and driving market share growth.


This role requires strong stakeholder management skills, agility in identifying opportunities, creativity in concept development, and operational excellence to ensure that all initiatives are executed successfully and fully aligned with both local and global guidelines and strategic direction.

 

 

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Develop, propose, and deliver innovative event, plug‑in, and festival activation concepts that strengthen brand identity and maximize consumer engagement.
  • Lead the full project lifecycle—from strategic intent and ideation to on‑site execution—ensuring a seamless process and concluding with a comprehensive performance evaluation.
  • Drive engagement innovation by introducing cutting‑edge, high‑impact mechanics that elevate brand awareness and stimulate word‑of‑mouth.
  • Build and maintain strategic, trust‑based relationships with HoReCa owners and managers, festival organizers, industry stakeholders, and event partners to secure premium visibility opportunities for PMI brands.
  • Position PMI as the preferred and indispensable partner for organizations across BELUX, ensuring the brand always remains part of key negotiations and collaboration discussions.
  • Continuously monitor BELUX market activities—including competitor activations—to identify trends, opportunities, and evolving consumer behaviors.
  • Adapt and implement the HoReCa/LAMP strategy to maximize commercialization and normalization of SFP within the channel.
  • Develop tailored visibility and staging solutions aligned with global guidelines, ensuring the right assessment of channel structure and accurate consumer segmentation to support targeted strategy development.
  • Manage and coordinate external marketing agencies, production partners, and global PMI-preferred suppliers to deliver high-quality, innovative executions.
  • Ensure excellence through clear briefings, structured project follow-up, and rigorous quality control of all materials and activations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Communications & Content SFP Manager, EA, Legal, Commercial Country Team, CX, and Digital teams to ensure all engagement initiatives meet local/international regulatory standards and PMI compliance requirements.
  • Secure all documentation and ensure alignment with global brand strategy and local go‑to‑market execution.
  • Monitor performance of engagement campaigns and content through defined KPIs.
  • Prepare data-driven reports and provide actionable recommendations to continuously enhance consumer experience and campaign effectiveness.
  • Support DME budget planning, monitoring, and cost control across all brand engagement activities.
  • Ensure expenditures align with approved plans and deliver maximum ROI, while maintaining accurate financial records for management review.
  • Adhere to and advocate for PMI policies and procedures, including EHS, Marketing Code (BMR), and Code of Conduct.
  • Ensure company assets and equipment are well-maintained and report any safety or compliance incidents—regardless of magnitude.
  • Guarantee that all activities respect legal requirements on smoking prevention.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in developing and executing consumer engagement activities (e.g., festivals, plug‑ins, consumer interaction events).
  • Experience in customer value management in Luxembourg is an advantage.
  • Background in an international company and/or FMCG environment is preferred.
  • Strong consumer-centric mindset with proven ability to translate consumer insights into actionable engagement strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing internal and external stakeholders, including HoReCa owners/managers, event organizers, and creative/production agencies.
  • Resident in Luxembourg.
  • Strong project management capabilities and solid analytical skills to interpret market data, trends, and performance results.
  • Good understanding of consumer experience, brand management, and activation strategy.
  • Excellent proficiency in English and French, with strong communication and negotiation skills to ensure effective stakeholder alignment.
