YOUR DAY TO DAY

depending on the role 

 

P1 Portfolio Intern

 

  • Assist in the development and deployment of an overarching product plan, from developing launch communication plans to making the product available in direct and indirect channels.
  • Ensures all marketing material for the product portfolio is relevant. Works with functional partners to ensure all activity across the business is aligned with brand guidelines and delivers on brand strategy.
  • Performs analysis of many data points, inclusive of consumer, sales and financial, at a national and regional level, to identify opportunities for growth and profitability within the portfolio.
  • Lead business proposals that drive incremental growth for product offers and product communications
  • Assist in the development and execution of all offline consumer education/engagement initiatives
  • Planning and developing all deployment details, and monitoring in-field execution, as well as ongoing offline competitive analysis and monitoring    
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other internal stakeholders to effectively execute against business plans.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on the performance of ad hoc activations.

 

Consumer Experience intern

 

 

  • Support the CX Retention & Loyalty Team in conducting market research for various loyalty programs across different industries, and determine best practices to address consumer needs
  • Monitor and report on current loyalty program, support enhancement initiative for seamless consumer journey across different touchpoints & channels
  • Identify & design enhancements to the loyalty program by conducting a consumer study, leveraging NSS & any identified gaps
  • Integrate new features into loyalty platform to enhance UX & consumer engagement
  • Participate in creating tactical activities to drive engagement with the loyalty platform
  • Proactively identify consumer pain points and feedback from loyalty programs
  • Take part & design FFWD experiments to validate assumptions to improve consumer experience and customize offers.
  • Connect, interpret and present patterns in unstructured data to showcase loyalty program performance & identify any trends that need to be actioned upon
  • Work with cross-functional teams to better understand our business, and support in driving initiatives to support business priorities.

 

Product Executive Intern

 

  • Assist in the development and deployment of overarching product plan

Brand Engagement Intern

  • Analyze consumer insights, sales data and market trends aimed to optimize product offers and marketing programs.  
  • Assist in the planning and development of marketing strategies aimed at growing our Smoke Free Products portfolio. You will help shape product offerings and marketing programs that guide adult consumers through all phases of the consumer journey – acquisition, conversion, and retention. 
  • Manage ongoing maintenance of our portfolio of special product offers & bundles; measuring and tracking performance, optimizing product offers to maximize performance, and coordinating deployment with key stakeholders. 
  • Lead the development and execution of all offline consumer education initiatives, including Legal Age Meeting Places, festivals, and Cinema activations. This includes strategic planning, agency sourcing and management, developing all deployment details, and monitoring in-field execution. 
  • Any other ad hoc activities to support organizational projects 

 

Digital Integrated Marketing Intern

 

 

  • Support the campaign execution with QA and testing
  • Ensure data integrity of system records to support marketing campaigns
  • Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics on a weekly basis
  • Learn and leverage an array of tools, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Support the Campaign Operation team with campaign execution processes
  • Provide feedback on test emails to ensure best practices before final deployment

 

 

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY

 

  • Graduation year of 2026, 2027 or 2028 (2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year undergraduate students) as well as MBA students
  • Ongoing diploma in Marketing, Business, Branding or any related fields
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 
  • Creativity, curiosity, and a proactive team player attitude 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Availability to be physically in Toronto from April 28th to August 26th  
  • Excellent command of written English 

 

Evaluation Process

 

Applicants who meet the criteria will be invited for a video interview to assess communication, team-building, and problem-solving skills. Successful candidates will then complete an online assessment to evaluate analytical skills. Top applicants will be invited to the Virtual On-Ground Assessment (VOGA), where they will meet with our team.

Our internship program offers a base salary of 25$ per hour and a full-time schedule.

After the summer, we offer opportunities to extend on a Part-time/Full-Time basis during the next semester, contract positions, as well as the possibility to be hired permanently for students who are close to graduation, if an opportunity becomes available and following a regular recruitment process.  

 

For any internship position at the Head Office, you will be required to be physically at the office from Monday to Wednesday (subject to changes at the discretion of the company)
