Role Overview:
The role provides comprehensive HR generalist support with a strong focus on benefits, pension, disability, and leave management.
It delivers people‑centric solutions to employees and leaders across multiple business levels.
The position supports both union and non‑union populations in English and French.
It collaborates across HR delivery areas to ensure smooth administration of established programs.
The incumbent ensures high‑quality employee service, compliance, and operational excellence in all benefits and pension processes.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
· Administer benefits and pension programs, including enrollments, renewals, retirements, inquiries, government filings, and committee support.
· Manage disability cases and leaves of absence end‑to‑end, ensuring accurate communication, documentation, and payroll updates.
· Serve as a key contact for employees (union and non‑union) for all benefits, pension, and wellness-related inquiries in English and French.
· Provide reporting to internal stakeholders and external agencies while maintaining accurate records and supporting routine HR operations.
· Coordinate vendor relationships and participate in cross‑departmental initiatives and projects related to Health, Wellness, and HR operations.
· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the employee experience and streamline benefits and pension administration.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education
· Bachelors degree in HR or related field
Experience
· Minimum 3 years HR experience, experience with disability management an asset
· Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams, excellent communication skills, Vendor management, Detail Orientated, highly organized
· Practical knowledge and apply foundational expertise in HR benefits and pension administration
Languages
· Bilingual in English and French
