YOUR DAY TO DAY

 

  • Perform customer risk profile analysis by examining purchase patterns, payment history, and behavior to regularly reassess the credit limits of over 3,000 direct customers, balancing legitimate market demand with business risk. Develop and adjust business models that incorporate sensitivity analyses and scenario planning.
  • Execute month-end and year-end Accounts Receivable related procedures by ensuring all Goods Issues for the period have been completed, unbilled items have been accrued for, billing in SAP is blocked and unblocked in a timely manner, unprocessed returned items have been accrued for, etc.
  • Actively and effectively review and analyze customer payment behaviour, including defaults, and use professional judgement to recommend appropriate actions to curb poor payment patterns (e.g. procedural changes and/or local policy changes).
  • Actively participate in projects as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Finance components of the OTC cycle, including contributing to the preparation of Business Requirement Documents and the proposal and creation of test scenarios.  Collaborate with IT, Distribution, and various Shared Service teams to coordinate and execute testing and deployment.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

Education

  • College/University degree

 

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Financial Analyst role within a medium/large organization with complex processes.  Preference for experience working within a Shared Service Centre model.

The salary for this position starts at $84,920 CAD.
