PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

As a participant in the CLP, you will embark on a transformative journey through two strategic rotational assignments within our Commercial function. These experiences are not just assignments; they are milestones on your path to leadership excellence. They are designed to deepen your understanding of our multifaceted business and to cultivate your managerial and leadership capabilities. With each rotation, you will emerge more equipped, more insightful, and ready to lead with distinction at Philip Morris Japan.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
Commercial Operations
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with organizational objectives.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other functions to evaluate team effectiveness.
- Organization and Capability Building: Grow and develop talents and seek means of optimizing the organization.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to sales operations
Marketing
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy around deployment of new products (devices/device accessories), ccontribute to a holistic strategy development / strategic planning, omni-channel concept & content creation from brand communication perspective for consumer retention and acquisition.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other functions (CX, Digital, Commercial Operations, etc)
- Capability Building: Grow and develop talents and seek means of optimizing the organization.
- Risk Management: Ensure risk management & compliance to brand, legal & regulatory requirements for all content.
Digital
- Strategic Planning: Ability to create impactful Digital Brand and Commercial strategies using the full ecosystem (Paid, Owned, Earned) in order to enhance the end-to-end consumer journey (e.g. support new users’ acquisitions and existing users’ retention
- Ability to mobilize creative technological thinking to define Digital Solutions to solve customer and business problems using current and new technology, with a strong ROI Mindset
- Ability to understand advanced and complex Digital Ecosystem Architecture and Infrastructure together with related interaction, amplification and retargeting mechanisms.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other functions (Marketing, CX, Commercial Operations, etc)
- Capability Building: Grow and develop talents and seek means of optimizing the organization.

REQUIREMENTS
- Insights to Action: ability to define strategic plans as well as gain buy-in and ensure successful implementation.
- 10+ years of experiences in Sales and Management
Or
- 6-10 years of experience in product marketing in consumer goods industries or in advertising, media or consulting firms servicing consumer goods businesses
Or
- 6-10 years of digital marketing expertise with focus on ecommerce, CRM, social media listening/content creation
- Team oriented – ability to work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong speaking and writing skills in both Japanese and English
