THE ROLE

We are looking for a Commercial Deployment Specialist who will based in Japan and be responsible for supporting Commercial Operations, Consumer Experience, and Data & Analytics teams of Asian Global Travel Retail markets and work like an extension of market back-office. This role will be a member of a Philip Morris Business Solutions Manila Team (PMBS) with opportunities to participate in projects at local/regional/global level which can bring international exposure and career opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The main goal is to execute all commercial related activities, such as deployment of portfolio execution, retail format, visual merchandising projects, online offline content management, organizational development initiations and other commercial executions. Specific responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with regional teams on commercial planning, customer development, and consumer experience initiatives.
- Drive change management and support the adoption of shared service models across markets.
- Lead deployment efforts for retailer infrastructure, portfolio initiatives, digital activations, and visual merchandising.
- Manage online and offline content to ensure brand consistency and market relevance.
- Act as a bridge between market teams and shared services, helping stakeholders understand the value of centralized support.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in Management, Marketing, Business, Engineering, or any related field.
- 1~ 3 years of commercial experience.
- Fluency in English and Japanese both written and spoken is a must. Additional language capabilities (Chinese or Korean) will be a plus.
- Strong digital acumen and curiosity for new platforms and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-sufficient.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a multicultural environment with strong communication and collaborative skills.
- Ability to combine multi-source data to drive business strategy
