Purpose of the Position
- Define and create training program objectives; develop required training content and localize it at the channel level.
- Continuously assess program effectiveness and incorporate user feedback to improve usability and impact.
Accountabilities
- Define and create training program goals and project plans based on the annual training calendar.
- Develop training programs (from scratch, in collaboration with vendors, or through localization of OC programs) and deliver them on time.
- Determine appropriate training mechanisms (digital, classroom, etc.) and collaborate with the Deployment team to align deployment and completion schedules.
- Manage vendors, including sourcing external expertise for specific training needs.
- Review training program effectiveness and user feedback to propose improvements.
- Oversee Knowledge Management, including training catalogue management.
- Prepare and present training programs at management meetings when necessary.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree
Language
- Japanese: Native level (verbal, written, presentation)
- English: Advanced level (verbal)
Experience & Skills
- 3–5+ years of B2C/B2B Training & Development experience.
- Experience in developing a variety of training content (Sales/Program/Initiatives training; role- or channel-specific skills training preferred).
- Business experience in commercial roles engaging with consumers (e.g., Call Center, Marketing, Sales).
- Knowledge of training methodologies and program development.
- Vendor sourcing and vendor management experience.
