We are looking for a Manager Business Planning to join PML (Philip Morris LTD) in Tel Aviv.
In this role, you will be at the center of providing strategic planning and development that connects local, regional, and global priorities. You will design and communicate long-term strategies, monitor market performance, and translate insights into recommendations that guide decision-making. What will your day-to-day look like (Responsibilities)?

  • Strategic planning support: Guide and facilitate strategy cycles, defining and presenting key assumptions on socio-economic, consumer, industry, taxation/regulatory, pricing, profitability, and volume trends. Consolidate cross-functional inputs and prepare executive materials for leadership.
  • Pricing strategy: Define competitive, profitable pricing, track market pricing dynamics, build strategic scenarios, support Commercial on pricing/discounting/trade terms, partner with Corporate Affairs on taxation/regulation/illicit trade, and ensure price approvals comply with company controls.
  • Volume forecasting & market analysis: Deliver accurate portfolio and industry forecasts, analyze market and competitor performance (including illicit trade) and translate insights into reliable forecasts. Align with Commercial on targets and strategy, with Supply Chain on production and availability, and support annual stock build-up.
  • Executive presentations & communication: Design and deliver business updates and executive presentations for local, regional, and global stakeholders (e.g., strategy review cycles, earnings-related updates, management meetings).
  • Business intelligence & strategic advisory: Build and maintain an executive factbook (macro, consumer, industry volume, pricing, trade margins, brand profitability, competitor activities, illicit trade). Maintain a market-intelligence deck and database, and recommend actionable short- and long-term initiatives.
  • Reporting & performance management: Deliver accurate, timely reporting including monthly performance commentaries, market updates and dashboards, including other business reports.
  • Business development initiatives: Provide analytical and strategic support for ad-hoc projects. Develop tools, models, simulations, and scenarios to guide decision-making, recommend opportunities, risk mitigations, and execution roadmaps.
  • Team leadership & capability building: Build a strong advisory team, position the Planning & Business Development team as a talent incubator, lead, coach, and develop team members in partnership with People & Culture.

 

What are we looking for (Skills and Experience)?

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years, ideally in Finance, Planning, and/or Commercial roles.
  • Skills: Strong business acumen, excellent communication and presentation skills, high technological proficiency.
  • Tools: Expert in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Languages: Fluent in English and in Hebrew is a must (writing and speaking skills).

 

Advantages

  • MBA in General Management, International Business, or Financial Planning (preferred).
