We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Line Coordinator to lead and oversee the operations and maintenance of equipment and machinery within our Primary Processing area. This role is critical in ensuring the production of high-quality cut filler, expanded tobacco, ripper shorts, and improved stems in alignment with PMI’s standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
What You'll Do:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and guide a team of Process Technicians, Attendants, and General Hands to ensure efficient and cost-effective production.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure optimal settings and adjustments on HMI starter panels and control systems across Primary processing lines.
- Maintenance Oversight: Lead minor and major mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive cost reduction and performance enhancement initiatives by monitoring KPIs such as efficiency, utilization, safety, blend integrity, and product quality.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold quality control standards, identify discrepancies, and take corrective actions to meet PMI specifications.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to processing procedures, company policies, and EHSS standards. Analyze processing data and inventory reports, and communicate results and action plans to leadership.
- Training & Development: Promote continuous learning, cross-training, and job rotation to build a flexible and high-performing team.
What You Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics & Communications Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in an operational or manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills with a proactive and challenge-driven mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to operational success.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows and related applications.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, onsite role based at our Batangas plant, following a rotating shift schedule.
