Your 'day to day': 

As a Data Engineer on the Data Services team, you will design, build, and optimize scalable solutions that make trusted, fit-for-purpose data available across the enterprise. You will use modern cloud and data platforms to accelerate analytics, AI, and insights while advancing automation, quality, and governance. 

• Design and maintain scalable, secure architectures and pipelines using Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Matillion, Databricks, Atlan, Profisee, and Power BI. 

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for reliable delivery of structured and unstructured data. 

• Automate QA, DevOps, FinOps, and security governance to improve reliability, efficiency, and scalability. 

• Partner with data scientists to operationalize AI/ML models in production-ready pipelines. 

• Monitor data quality and ensure reporting needs, privacy, compliance, and governance requirements are met. 

• Mentor and collaborate with engineers, architects, and cross-functional partners, promoting technical excellence and continuous learning. 

Who we're looking for: 

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and within commutable distance of Tampa, FL. 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience. 

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with data engineering technologies including SQL, Azure Database, ADF, Snowflake, AWS, Synapse, and Matillion. 

• Expertise in data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud data warehouse optimization; proficiency in SQL and experience with Python and/or Scala. 

• Experience with Databricks, Power BI, Atlan, and Profisee is preferred, plus knowledge of MDM, data governance, and enterprise data quality. 

• Experience automating QA, CI/CD, DevOps, FinOps, and security governance controls. 

• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, including mentoring engineers and partnering with business and technical teams. 

Annual Base Salary Range: $88,000 - $110,000
