This position sits with our Swedish Match affiliate.
The Customer Service Systems Specialist is responsible for the daily integrity of EDI flows and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) processes across Swedish Match North America (SMNA). This role combines EDI support, inventory management, and coordination to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
The specialist serves as the primary contact for EDI transactions, VMI order generation, issue resolution, and system alignment between D365 FO, SAP S/4, SPS Commerce, Data Masons, and customer platforms.
Your day-to-day:
•    Execute and optimize VMI ordering processes.
•    Analyze demand trends and inventory availability.
•    Maintain VMI catalogs, item rules, and location data.
•    Support fulfillment and sales needs with Logistics and Commercial teams.
•    Monitor EDI transactions, including POs, POAs, invoices, ASNs, and catalogs.
•    Troubleshoot failed, missing, or stalled transactions.
•    Maintain UPCs, customer mappings, and ship-to data.
•    Support item lifecycle changes.
•    Configure, test, and onboard EDI partners.
•    Resolve mapping, inventory, file, and data issues.
•    Communicate corrective actions to stakeholders.
•    Collaborate across business functions.
•    Maintain SOPs and recommend automation improvements.
Who we're looking for:
•    Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
•    4+ years of customer service or sales experience.
•    Experience with VMI platforms.
•    Knowledge of EDI standards and processes (X12, XML).
•    Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO and/or SAP S/4HANA.
•    Experience with SPS Commerce and Data Masons preferred.
•    Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
•    Attention to detail and ability to manage transactional data.
•    Customer-focused with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
•    Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Annual Base Salary Range: $66,400 - $83,000
