Position Title: Manager Trade Engagement & Activation

As part of this transformation, we are looking for a Manager Trade Engagement & Activation to lead the development and execution of trade engagement strategies across Taiwan's priority retail channels. This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, retailer engagement, activation excellence, and business performance, helping to strengthen retailer advocacy, accelerate sell-out, and drive growth through impactful trade programs.
This is a high-impact commercial leadership role that combines strategy, activation, stakeholder management, and performance optimization within a dynamic and highly regulated environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Define and execute short- and mid-term trade engagement and activation strategies aligned to Taiwan's commercial objectives and go-to-market priorities.
- Develop end-to-end activation frameworks that integrate trade engagement, B2B2C programs, and trade activation platforms across key retail channels.
- Translate retailer, consumer, and channel insights into actionable initiatives that drive retailer advocacy and sales growth.
- Lead the development and deployment of trade activation platforms and tools, including retailer education programs, trade events, digital engagement solutions, and point-of-sale activations.
- Drive retailer capability building by delivering engagement programs that enhance retailer confidence, knowledge, and service quality.
- Partner closely with Commercial, Brand, Customer Experience, Digital, and Field Force teams to ensure consistent and effective activation execution.
- Own the trade engagement and activation calendar, ensuring alignment with broader commercial and business priorities.
- Lead trade communication initiatives and campaigns while ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal governance requirements.
- Monitor activation effectiveness through retail sales data, consumer insights, execution KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Continuously optimize activation investments, resource allocation, and execution models to maximize business impact and ROI.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, suppliers, and trade partners to ensure high-quality execution and value creation.
- Lead and develop team members while fostering a high-performance culture built on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
We're Looking For
- 7–10+ years of experience within trade marketing, sales, commercial planning, B2B activation, customer engagement, or related commercial functions.
- Strong understanding of retail trade channels and B2B engagement dynamics within Taiwan. Experience across General Trade and On-Premise channels would be advantageous.
- Proven ability to translate commercial strategy into high-quality execution.
- Experience working within FMCG or multinational consumer-centric organizations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions and seniority levels.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Strong commercial acumen and confidence working with senior leadership teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the agility and resilience to thrive in fast-paced and evolving environments.
- Previous people leadership experience is preferred.
