About the Role

We are looking for a commercially minded, hands-on leader to own PMI Taiwan’s product recovery and sustainability agenda. This newly created role sits at the intersection of reverse logistics, recycling, and sustainability, shaping how take-back programs support PMI Taiwan’s broader sustainability ambitions.

You will manage the lifecycle from device and consumable collection to inspection, consolidation, recycling, or disposal, while building the vendor ecosystem and stakeholder relationships needed to deliver a credible program in Taiwan.

What You'll Do

Reverse Logistics & Product Recovery

• Manage returned devices and consumables from channel collection through warehousing, inspection, consolidation, recycling, and destruction.
• Establish SOPs across collection, transportation, storage, recovery, recycling, and disposal.
• Improve efficiency, cost, service quality, and KPI performance across the reverse logistics network.

Sustainability & Recycling Program Leadership

• Design, launch, and scale Taiwan’s recycling and take-back programs to improve recovery and responsible waste management.
• Develop the market sustainability roadmap, grounded in Taiwan’s waste management and regulatory landscape.
• Use sustainability programs to support commercial objectives and build positive awareness of new products.

Government & Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with External Affairs / Corporate Affairs to engage officials and environmental agencies, positioning recycling efforts as responsible product stewardship.
• Design consumer recycling incentives in line with local market regulations.

Vendor & Contract Management

• Build and manage recycling, waste management, inspection, and logistics vendors, developing partners into credible program contributors.
• Set service levels, KPIs, governance, and ensure contractual and compliance obligations are met.

Reporting, Analytics & Cross-Functional Leadership

• Develop reporting frameworks and scorecards; support budgeting, forecasting, and business cases.
• Lead cross-functional projects across Commercial, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Legal, External Affairs, and external partners.

What You'll Bring

• Based in Taiwan, with strong local market knowledge and familiarity with the waste management and recycling ecosystem.
• Minimum 5 years in operations, product care, reverse logistics, sustainability, or program management, ideally in electronics, appliances, or consumer take-back programs.
• Commercial mindset with practical knowledge of recycling, waste management, and responsible product recovery.
• Proven vendor and contract management experience, with the ability to develop niche partners into reliable collaborators.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, including comfort working with government and regulatory bodies.
• Hands-on, process-driven, analytical, and confident in communication, presentation, and reporting.
