As part of this bold vision, we’re seeking a Key Account Manager to join our commercial team in Taiwan.

Your Day to Day:
Key Account Strategy & Execution
- Develop and propose Key Account strategies and annual/monthly plans aligned with business objectives and overall PMI direction.
- Execute agreed strategies through robust trade activation plans, sales cycles, brand initiatives, and trade programs.
- Drive PMI’s share of market growth by ensuring optimal visibility, availability, recommended pricing, and quality execution across key accounts.
Sales Performance & KPI Delivery
- Own monthly and annual sales forecasting and planning for assigned key accounts, monitored by account, brand, and SKU.
- Track performance against key sales KPIs including IMS, off-take, SoM, OI, and OCI.
- Continuously optimize trade activation plans to ensure KPI achievement.
- Identify and implement best practices and performance improvements to maximize sales volume and brand performance.
Trade Development & Business Growth
- Build and maintain strong, profitable relationships with key account customers by providing commercial consultancy and expertise.
- Identify emerging key accounts and develop action plans to expand PMI’s business within these customers.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities with existing and new accounts to grow volume, ensure stock availability, pricing compliance, and optimal display.
- Design and implement trade programs and incentive schemes to strengthen customer relationships and drive portfolio performance.
- Propose business growth opportunities to Commercial Management.
Business Planning & Governance
- Actively contribute to strategic Key Account planning in line with PMI’s overall commercial strategy.
- Prepare and manage agreements with selected key accounts, ensuring full compliance with approved strategies and plans.
- Continuously evaluate key account performance, identify opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare commercial operating plans (OB) and obtain RHQ approval.
- Supervise and contribute to key account sales cycle content to maximize cycle effectiveness.
Market, Channel Analysis & Reporting
- Gather market intelligence through key account engagement and keep Commercial Management informed of key developments.
- Communicate relevant updates and changes to the Field Sales Force.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date key account information in internal systems to support decision-making.
- Deliver regular key account and channel performance analysis to support strategy development.
Brand Portfolio Management
- Manage PMI’s brand portfolio within assigned key accounts to drive volume, availability, pricing discipline, and prevent out-of-stocks.
- Lead and coordinate new brand and product launches within key accounts.
- Prepare and execute negotiation strategies to secure optimal commercial terms for launches and brand initiatives.
Budgeting, Reporting & Controls
- Own budgeting and reporting responsibilities for assigned key accounts in line with OB and RF processes.
- Monitor Actual vs Budget performance and ensure adherence to internal control and compliance policies.
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and supervise key account–related projects as the primary project owner.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Define success metrics and provide critical inputs to measure project outcomes.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
- 5+ years of sales experience within leading multinational FMCG companies, with solid Key Account management and planning exposure - experience in managing CVS is preferred.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Field Sales experience is a strong plus, with deep understanding of trade execution.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to operate confidently with senior management.
- Customer-focused, results-driven, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- Fluent in English and Chinese.
