As part of this bold transformation, we’re seeking a Finance Manager, Business Partnering to join our Finance team in Taiwan.

This is a high-impact role at the heart of our commercial strategy, financial governance, and value protection. You’ll partner closely with the Commercial organization to provide robust financial insights, enforce strong controls, and ensure disciplined execution of business initiatives. By combining financial expertise, governance rigor, and business acumen, you’ll play a critical role in driving sustainable growth while safeguarding PMI’s financial integrity.

Your Day to Day:

Strategic Business Partnering with Strong Financial Discipline

• Act as the primary Finance partner to Commercial teams, supporting end-to-end financial evaluation of business initiatives—from business case development to execution readiness.
• Ensure all decisions are grounded in robust financial analysis, aligned with business priorities, and compliant with internal guidelines.
• Challenge assumptions constructively to drive financially sound and sustainable decisions.

Governance, Controls & Compliance

• Lead and reinforce strong financial governance across commercial initiatives, ensuring strict adherence to PMI policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner closely with FP&A, R2R, Tax, and Internal Controls teams to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance in financial processes.
• Proactively identify control gaps, risks, and compliance issues, and drive timely remediation actions.

Value Protection & Risk Management

• Provide critical financial oversight on key commercial initiatives, including contract reviews, investment proposals, and scenario analysis.
• Ensure risks are clearly identified, quantified, and managed, protecting company value and minimizing financial exposure.
• Act as a gatekeeper to ensure initiatives are financially sound, executable, and aligned with governance standards.

Commercial Performance & Investment Effectiveness

• Partner with Commercial teams to strengthen pricing discipline, trade investment governance, and profitability management.
• Monitor and evaluate financial performance, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and strong return on investment.
• Drive a culture of accountability and cost discipline while balancing growth ambitions.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in Finance (business partnering, FP&A, commercial finance, or controlling).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate financial risks and recommendations clearly.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage risks and enforce financial discipline in a complex, matrix environment.
• Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate data into clear and actionable business insights.
• Confident stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• CPA or equivalent qualification, and knowledge of local tax regulations, preferred.
