As part of this bold vision, we’re seeking a Head of Communications to join our team in Taiwan.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the development and execution of market communication strategies to enhance corporate equity and drive societal acceptance of PMI’s vision.
• Oversee digital campaigns and manage omni-channel digital platforms to engage stakeholders and share corporate content.
• Develop and implement local corporate equity strategies, identifying key focus areas such as sustainability, exports, and regulatory topics.
• Design and execute regulatory communications to support policy objectives, including media relations and grassroots advocacy.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with local media, reporters, editors, and specialized journals to maximize positive coverage.
• Coordinate local sustainability reporting initiatives and monitor regulatory developments, proactively managing risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to promote PMI’s sustainability efforts and assess the impact of regulations.
• Lead and develop the communications team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure all communications and government relations activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and PMI’s internal standards.
• Serve as a spokesperson and represent PMI in external speaking engagements and media interviews.

Who We’re Looking For

• Strong track record in corporate communications, public affairs, or PR, ideally with 10+ years in highly regulated sectors.
• Skilled in developing and executing communication strategies across digital and traditional channels.
• Adept at building relationships with media and diverse stakeholders, including government, NGOs, and industry groups.
• Knowledgeable about sustainability reporting, regulatory communications, and crisis management.
• A confident communicator with strong interpersonal, diplomatic, and public speaking skills.
• Analytical and data-driven, able to interpret trends and measure communication impact.
• Experienced in leading teams, managing multiple priorities, and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Internationally minded, with experience in multinational companies and cross-functional collaboration.
