Your ‘day to day’ 

As a Tax Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring that PMI's tax compliance and reporting obligations in the Philippines are met including participation to ad-hoc advisories and projects.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Execute and ensure timely and accurate filing/payment of all tax filings obligations
  2. Be up to date with relevant legislation and execute best in class operational tax processes for tax reporting, tax provision, transfer pricing, indirect and direct tax compliance.
  3. Provide tax advisory and trainings to respective teams in the organization to ensure proper tax risk mitigation.
  4. Ensure proper system set-up and master data related set up for the relevant tax processes.
  5. Continuous streamlining of the tax processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Manage internal relationships (other functional teams within and outside PH); Manage external relationships with consultants/advisors/auditor/3rd parties (KPMG, PwC, EY, contractor); Manage relationship with the local tax authorities.

 

Who we’re looking for

  • A graduate of a reputable school with a degree in Accounting and a Certified Public Accountant.
  • At least 4 years of experience in tax compliance work. Transfer pricing background is preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel and knowledgeable in SAP
