The Commercial Planning Manager is responsible for formulating and proposing organizational goals and targets, as well as measuring performance through defined KPIs. The role drives organizational motivation through KPI evaluation and incentive programs.
Additionally, the role is responsible for ensuring that multicategory data and analysis for National Key Accounts are effectively developed, maintained, and continuously improved to support timely decision-making for both management and frontline teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure sales functions receive timely reports and insights to benchmark performance and support business planning
- Review sales reports and incentive schemes; provide inputs to refine report formats and ensure feasibility and efficiency
- Manage and deliver routine reports to stakeholders within defined timelines
- Establish standardized data collection, validation, and integration processes to ensure data reliability
- Analyze data to ensure accuracy and quality of cycle, trade, and incentive reports
- Drive development and alignment of commercial KPIs, targets, and incentive frameworks across functions
- Lead strategic planning and ensure alignment with category and channel objectives
- Implement and manage OGSM and KPI frameworks across channels and frontline teams
- Monitor and track performance against commercial and sales objectives, identifying gaps and improvement areas
- Evaluate and optimize sales incentive programs; monitor utilization and payout effectiveness
- Establish and optimize reporting, data reconciliation, and incentive computation processes to ensure accurate, timely outputs and seamless integration with cross-functional workflows
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in any business-related course.
- 7–10 years of experience in commercial planning, strategy, or business operations
- Proven experience in a managerial role leading commercial initiatives or projects
- Background in FMCG, multinational companies, or top-tier consulting firms is an advantage
- Strong track record in performance management and KPI development
