Purpose of the Position:

This position will lead the governance of commercial dashboards, oversee performance tracking across multiple channels, and provide management with actionable recommendations to optimize sales strategies, trade investments, and route-to-market effectiveness. The role also involves presenting analytical insights to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment across functions, and supporting the company’s growth and profitability objectives.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Data Governance & Reporting
    Lead the Power BI governance framework, ensuring dashboards are up to date, reliable, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
    Administer user access, maintain dashboard integrity, and resolve system issues or troubleshooting requests.
    Extract and transform large volumes of data from Snowflake and other enterprise data warehouses into structured, business-ready management reports.
    Validate and monitor data integrity of system downloads, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with corporate standards.
    Consolidate national key account scan data, benchmark performance against general trade sales, and generate correlation analysis to highlight business drivers.

  2. Sales Fundamentals & Performance Analytics
    Conduct deep-dive analysis on core sales fundamentals, including strike rate, drop size, buying POS, repurchase rates, and other market KPIs, to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
    Provide weekly and monthly performance reviews, generating insights that support commercial teams in strengthening field execution and trade efficiency.
    Develop management-ready recommendations, translating complex analysis into clear actions that enhance sales productivity and optimize business outcomes.
    Lead the preparation of regional business review materials and monthly performance review decks, ensuring structured storytelling, consistency, and executive-level quality.
    Produce ad hoc analytical reports to support volume planning, forecasting accuracy, and route-to-market (RTM) model enhancements.
    Inventory, Supply, and Order Management
    Oversee the monitoring and tracking of inventory levels, Days of Inventory (DOI), and Purchase Order (PO) placements.
    Flag risks of overstocking or stockouts, proactively raising early-warning signals to mitigate potential business disruptions.
    Collaborate with supply chain teams to align stock management with sales demand forecasts and channel requirements.

  3. KPI Tracking & Performance Measurement
    Manage the company-wide KPI framework, tracking performance metrics used for employee evaluation and incentive alignment.
    Oversee OGSM (Objectives, Goals, Strategies, Measures) monitoring, ensuring progress visibility and accountability across commercial teams.
    Develop, update, and maintain monthly scorecards and executive dashboards, providing consolidated performance views for management decision-making.

  4. Commercial Programs & Governance
    Lead the monitoring and evaluation of trade programs, promotions, and incentives across both Retail and Wholesale channels.
    Ensure the quarterly commercial cycle governance is effectively managed, including the design, evaluation, and recalibration of trade programs.
    Present analytical results and recommendations to senior stakeholders during cycle governance meetings, driving informed decision-making.
    Assess trade program efficiency and sufficiency, identifying execution gaps, opportunities for improvement, and areas for investment reallocation.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Partner with Sales, Trade Marketing, Data Insights & Analytics, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure analytics outputs are aligned with business priorities.
    Provide management-ready presentations that communicate key insights, challenges, and recommendations with clarity and impact.
    Act as the primary contact for data-driven inquiries, ensuring business stakeholders have access to accurate, timely, and actionable information.

 

Skills & Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related discipline (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in commercial analytics, sales operations, trade marketing, or commercial planning.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Power BI, Snowflake, Excel (advanced level), and other BI/data visualization tools.
  • Proven experience in data governance, dashboard maintenance, and performance reporting.
  • Solid understanding of sales fundamentals, trade marketing principles, incentive schemes, and inventory management concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into practical business recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
