Your ‘day to day’
- People Management: Manage supply planner & site integrated planner in respect of their performance, giving day to day operational guidance, problem solving advice. Orchestrates and motivities his/her responsible teammates to meet drumbeat time line as well as fulfilling business target
- Execution and Ownership of Supply Planning Processes: Lead and oversee the finished goods / semi finished goods product supply planning processes for the responsible version or portfolio among the global markets. Ensure adherence to standard drumbeats and defined planning cycles to maintain supply continuity and optimize inventory levels. Implement and cascade global allocation plans in accordance with the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) plans. Partnering with PMI stakeholders to solve the constraints (i.e. materials, quality, change ship mode…) Take decision on priority setting among global markets when volume is constrained
- Alert Monitoring and Action Planning: Review and escalate alerts monitoring and participate in regular Supply planning (DDS) meetings and Monthly PDCA meeting Identify attention points related to finished goods / semi finished goods supply and define action plans. Collaborate with other departments to provide support and tackle issues in a timely manner.
- Inventory and NPI Management: Perform inventory management for finished goods / semi finished goods, ensuring sustainable practices. Manage new product introductions (NPI) in alignment with financial and service level targets. Validate and approve Supply Planners' shipment plans to meet market demand and targeted inventory policies. Take actions and provide inputs to minimize finished goods leftover. Orchestrate planners' activities in accordance with defined drumbeats and targets. Review and approve scenarios proposed by Supply planners resolve shortages or excess inventory.
- Deviation Management and Escalation: Review and control inventory projections for the defined horizon across the full portfolio. Take actions or escalate to relevant departments to resolve deviations and maintain target ranges.
- Management and Development of Planning as a Service: Manage the development, organization, and performance review of Business Service Provider (BSP) Supply Planning teams. Ensure onboarding, training, knowledge transfer, and succession planning for the BSP teams. Support the global Synch Hub Vision and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- E&O Mitigation and Provisioning: Lead efforts to mitigate excess and obsolete inventory (E&O) and market-specific liabilities. Collaborate with relevant departments to implement timely mitigation initiatives. Provide input for provisioning and approval for destructions, as well as insights for corporate communications.
- Continuous Improvement and Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Foster a sound and efficient business environment and maintain a collaborative atmosphere.
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience with 5 years in supply planning, inventory management, and demand forecasting. Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including S&OP and IBP. Proficient in using supply chain planning tools and systems.
- Fluent in English
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Effective communication and leadership skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Continuous improvement mindset and a focus on driving results.
