About Supply Chain & Procurement
The Supply Chain & Procurement team is responsible for ensuring PMI U.S. delivers products and services efficiently, responsibly, and cost-effectively. Working across sourcing, procurement, planning, logistics, supplier management, and operations, the team partners with stakeholders throughout the business to optimize processes, manage risk, and support growth. Through data-driven decision making and continuous improvement, Supply Chain & Procurement plays an important role in advancing PMI U.S.'s smoke-free future.
What You'll Do
- Support sourcing, procurement, and supply chain projects that improve operational efficiency and business performance.
- Conduct supplier research, spend analysis, and reporting to support purchasing decisions.
- Assist with purchase requisitions and purchase orders while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with teams across Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.
- Analyze inventory, demand, supplier, and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Support supplier performance tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and process documentation for stakeholders.
- Participate in projects focused on supply chain optimization, cost savings, risk management, and process improvement.
- Research industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Present project outcomes and recommendations to business leaders at the conclusion of the internship.
Who We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Interest in supply chain operations, sourcing, procurement, and business transformation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Power BI, SAP, SQL, or other analytics tools is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Compensation
Hourly Pay Range: $29-$32/hour
