Job Overview: The Procurement Sustainability Manager will be responsible for integrating sustainability into our procurement processes. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to ensure that our supply chain is environmentally responsible and socially ethical. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and sustainability, with a passion for driving change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sustainable Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainable procurement strategy that aligns with the company and global procurement sustainability goals.  Work with the global procurement team to align the US procurement sustainability strategy.
  • Supplier Engagement: Collaborate with suppliers to promote sustainable practices and ensure compliance with environmental and social standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate sustainability risks within the supply chain.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor and report on the sustainability performance of procurement activities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the sustainability team, to integrate sustainability into all aspects of procurement.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to procurement staff on sustainability best practices.
  • Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in sustainable procurement and apply them to improve processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on sustainability.
  • Strong understanding of sustainable procurement principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proven track record of driving sustainability initiatives within a procurement function.

Annual Base Salary Range: $99,000 - $132,000
