Swedish Match North America LLC, a consumer-packaged goods producer (CPG) and market leader of cigars and a broad assortment of smokeless tobacco products is currently seeking a Manager, Trade Marketing - Field Sales in Stamford, CT.

 

The Manager, Trade Marketing-Field Sales position interacts and works with all key functional business areas. Primary responsibilities and focus will be on working with Business Development Managers to track and manage Field Sales Trade programs and activities. The position is a high exposure opportunity to gain cross-functional and corporate knowledge, which in turn will provide opportunities that positively impact our trade management and sales strategy with our customers.

 

Swedish Match North America LLC, develops, manufactures, and sells quality products with market-leading brands such as ZYN nicotine pouches and other smokeless tobacco products. In order to continually promote and create innovative products that support our vision, we are currently seeking a Manager, Trade Marketing in Stamford, CT.

 

 

 

Your ‘day to day’:

 

 

    • Lead all aspects of assigned brand/category Trade support and be the main point of contact for Field Sales, Marketing and other pertinent departments
    • Administer, track, and approve all elements of Trade Funding
    • Support all trade elements of new item launches
    • Cultivate new Trade programs
    • Lead in the development, publication & implementation of the annual Chain Account & Independent OTPA (including sales support tools)
    • Work with Marketing (brand) teams to develop promotional strategies that exploit opportunities and enhance our selling activities
    • Provide analysis to efficiently and effectively allocate resources
    • Develop, analyze, and prioritize business investment and cost saving opportunities.
    • Provide competitive intelligence that allows Swedish Match to proactively refine it’s go-to-market strategies
    • Play a “key” role in the roll-out of new products, line extensions, etc. including new item distribution goals, volume estimates, coordination of sales materials.
    • Support the development of major regional sales initiatives
    • Play a major role in coordination of Annual Budgeting process for Trade Development (Trade Budgets, Program Planner, Collateral Materials, etc.)
    • Play a major role in monthly and quarterly Trade Marketing Financial Forecasts
    • Complete 90-day rolling forecasts for Monthly Close submission to Sr. Management
    • Play an active role in the development & enhancement of our Total Trade Funds Management System
    • Initiate Field Sales and Customer engagement via customer appointments and retail field visits

 

 

Who we’re looking for:

 

    • College degree required in business, finance, economics or marketing, MBA preferred.
    • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods Industry. Sales and/or Trade Marketing experience necessary.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and management skills necessary. Must possess strong financial skills and be able to penetrate all levels of the organization. Project management skills required.
    • Must be able to work under pressure and handle multiple assignments with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
    • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship now and in the future.

 

 

 

Annual Base Salary Range: $114,400 - $143,000
