The Sr Manager, Trade Marketing supports the execution and optimization of trade marketing strategies across categories and channels. This role converts commercial direction into high‑quality retail programs, ensuring strong execution, operational accuracy, and timely delivery of initiatives.
This position partners closely with Sales, Brand, RGM, Insights, and Commercial Planning teams to operationalize programs that drive consumer conversion, customer value, and retail excellence. The role is highly cross‑functional, requiring strong organization, analytical rigor, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Your ‘day to day’:
- Translate portfolio plans and commercial priorities into retailer‑ready assets, toolkits, and execution plans.
- Coordinate cross‑category program development to ensure consistency, compliance, and channel relevance.
- Manage program timelines, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure flawless execution in market.
- Collaborate with Brand, RGM, Sales, Finance, and Insights to support promotional strategy development focused on consumer relevance and ROI.
- Prepare materials, data inputs, and program summaries for commercial planning cycles, QBRs, and activation calendars.
- Ensure feedback loops between Sales and Marketing to improve feasibility, clarity, and retail alignment.
- Lead coordination of promotional programs, POS materials, planograms, merchandising tools, and retailer‑specific executions.
- Maintain and update the promotional calendar, ensuring timely distribution and cross‑functional visibility.
- Identify opportunities to improve program quality, efficiency, and retailer impact through insights and analytics
- Support the development of customer presentations, sell‑in materials, and influence narratives used by the Trade and Sales teams.
- Collect, summarize, and circulate retail insights, competitive observations, and field learnings to inform program design.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and updated understanding of retail conditions, category dynamics, and competitive activity.
- Support program performance tracking using shipment, depletions, loyalty, syndicated data, and retailer performance sources.
- Prepare KPI scorecards evaluating promotional efficiency, sell-through, and allocation strategies.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of post‑promotion learning libraries.
- Manage day‑to‑day trade operations.
- Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, reduce cycle times, and elevate execution quality.
- Partner with Finance and Commercial Operations to ensure spend accuracy, forecasting discipline, and compliance.
- Provide direction to coordinators, specialists, or cross‑functional partners as needed to deliver projects.
- Uphold a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a role model for operational rigor, data‑driven decision making, and cross‑functional communication.
Who we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
- Experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Brand Marketing, or related commercial functions.
- Demonstrated experience executing trade programs and/or managing promotional processes.
- Experience working in complex, cross‑functional environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Clear and compelling communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in execution.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
- Working knowledge of promotional design, customer planning, and retail execution preferred.

Annual Base Salary Range: $149,600 - $187,000
