Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and vendor management activities for the IT Services and HR Services categories. This role will be responsible for driving value through supplier relationships, optimizing costs, mitigating risks, and supporting business goals across technology and people-focused services. The ideal candidate brings deep procurement expertise, category knowledge, and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Services Category:
- Lead sourcing strategies for IT services including software, cloud services (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), managed services, infrastructure, and consulting.
- Partner with IT stakeholders (CIO, IT Directors, etc.) to understand current and future needs.
- Manage contract negotiations (MSAs, SLAs, licensing, renewals) and vendor relationships.
- Identify opportunities for consolidation, cost savings, and process improvement.
- HR Services Category:
- Manage sourcing for HR services such as recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), training & development, employee wellness, benefits administration, and contingent labor.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to align supplier strategy with workforce planning and talent management goals.
- Optimize supplier base and manage compliance with employment laws and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- General Procurement Leadership:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with company goals and category best practices.
- Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and total cost of ownership (TCO) assessments.
- Lead RFIs, RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier selection.
- Track and report on category performance, savings, risk, and supplier performance metrics.
- Promote diversity, sustainability, and ethical sourcing practices.
Who we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
- 8+ years of procurement experience, with a strong focus on IT and HR services categories.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations, and vendor relationships.
- Strong understanding of IT landscapes (cloud, security, infrastructure) and HR service trends.
- Excellent negotiation, financial analysis, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with procurement tools and platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle).
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically.
Annual Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $188,000
