This position sits with our Swedish Match affiliate.
The ZYN Sr. Brand Manager works in close coordination with the leadership team to develop brand strategy, lead annual brand planning, and drive the execution and performance of integrated marketing programs that support business growth and sales objectives. This role is responsible for managing core brand campaigns, overseeing creative asset development, and serving as a key liaison with agency partners to ensure brand consistency, effectiveness, and impact across all touchpoints.
Your ‘day to day’:
- Lead brand strategy development and own the annual brand planning process, aligning objectives, priorities, and KPIs with business goals.
- Develop, execute, and optimize core brand campaigns across channels, ensuring consistency with brand positioning and messaging.
- Oversee creative asset development and management across paid, owned, earned, and retail touchpoints.
- Serve as a lead for the Agency of Record, managing brief development, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales, Digital, Legal, and Finance to execute integrated marketing programs.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans including forecasting, packaging development, sales promotion, advertising, and pricing strategies.
- Manage brand budgets, track expenditures versus plan, and deliver financial and business performance analysis.
- Analyze and report on consumer insights, market trends, competitive dynamics, sales performance, and market share.
- Lead and support advertising, packaging, POS, and promotional development from concept through execution.
- Provide leadership in digital media and advertising initiatives for the brand.
- Support international brand expansion initiatives including branding platforms, positioning, portfolio strategy, and global brand toolkits.
- Support special projects, innovation initiatives, and other responsibilities as assigned.
Who we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent. MBA strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in Marketing or Sales Promotion Activities in Consumer-Packaged Goods Industry.
- Strong brand strategy, planning, and execution capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage agencies and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates leadership, initiative, follow-through, and effective priority setting.
- Highly self-motivated self-starter able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative research.
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation); proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Passion for building impactful brands within the PMI US portfolio.
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future
Annual Base Salary Range: $149,600 - $187,000
