Your ‘day to day’:
The PMO Analyst is responsible for supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) in various functions, with a particular emphasis on financial budgeting and analysis.   The PMO Analyst will work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and financial teams to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across all projects. 

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of data project budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals and objectives. 
  • Conduct financial analysis and reporting for the PMO, including variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. 
  • Collaborate with project managers to monitor project financial performance, identify potential risks, and provide solutions to mitigate those risks. 
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations. 
  • Participate in the development and implementation of PMO processes, standards, and best practices. 
  • Utilize project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or Jira, to track and manage project financials. 
  • Analyze and resolve complex financial issues, providing accurate and timely information to stakeholders. 
  • Support the PMO Manager in various administrative and operational tasks as needed. 

 

Who we’re looking for:

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Commutable distance to Stamford, CT.
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in a PMO management role, with a track record of successful project delivery and financial management. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and financial acumen. 
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or Jira. 
  • Advanced knowledge of financial principles and practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. 

 

What’s ‘nice to have’:

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2). 
  • Experience in CPG industry or sector, with knowledge of industry-specific financial practices and regulations. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools. 
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Power BI or Tableau. 
  • Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial management software. 

 

Annual Base Salary Range: $96,800 - $121,000
