The Manager, Strategy & Program Delivery will manage and collaborate with the US Operations Leadership Team (VP Ops, VP Manufacturing, Manufacturing Directors, Functional Directors) to deploy the US Operations Strategy, strategic initiatives and performance management.

Your ‘day to day’:

  • Deploy the US Operations Strategy ensuring alignment with both operations and business objectives (objectives, goals, strategies and measures) OGSM.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and central functions (Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, etc.) to either lead or deploy key programs from the master plan linked to business strategies and/or operations functional strategies.
  • Lead the Performance Management of operations to ensure results delivery as per defined success criteria (plan, do check, act – PDCA). Ensure tools for root cause analysis and gap closure are deployed including capability building.  Identify capabilities gaps and support its elimination.
  • Establish critical KPIs, definitions, owners and capability building to set up the performance management pillars, focused on service, cost, quality, innovation and people.
  • Establish the Operations Productivity Office with focus on both top down and bottom-up productivity initiatives. Drive ideas, ensure quantification together with finance and implement.
  • Ensure a strong governance process for review, tracking and gap closure.
  • Coordinate the US Operations Loss Analysis across all functions to build the capabilities around loss identification and to drive a zero-loss mindset. Be the change agent towards creating a culture of loss identification and elimination. Drive actions from loss analysis to tackle controllable losses and to convert non-recoverable losses to recoverable losses.
  • Coordinate and deploy the connect of the Operations Excellence Roadmap (Lean) for PMI US Operations and the connection to performance metrics, key focus areas and programs/projects linked to this roadmap.
  • Identify needs for digital solution development with focus on data products adoption, efficiency in performance cycle to ensure faster actions for gap closure. Develop the roadmap with a cross functional data team towards development and adoption of data products and agentic AI across operations functions: manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, procurement, quality etc.
  • Perform benchmarks within FMCG and other industries to drive excellence in Operations. Bring an outside-in perspective to define what GREAT looks like, specially focused driving performance management.  

 Who we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of 8 years of operations experience (operations excellence, performance management and or production and/or supply chain and/or procurement)
  • Bachelor / Master degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Sciences or similar
  • Legally authorized to work in the US
  • Established track record of successfully delivering Program/ Projects
  • Experience within various areas of Operations (Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of operations operating models
  • Knowledge of key manufacturing processes, technologies and standard ways of working (Operations Excellence), focusing on Performance Management standards
  • Outstanding knowledge of performance metrics (KPIs and KAIs) to ensure capability building
  • A creative and analytical problem-solver, with the ability to think ‘outside the box’ when encountering project challenges
  • Strong influencing and collaboration skills; able to advise and constructively challenge senior team members
  • Able to work with cross functional teams, remote teams and external support teams to drive collective success
  • Clear understanding of project management tools and techniques
  • Project management, Project management system, Pitching PRO, PMI Business acumen, Change management, People Fundamentals, Portfolio management, Data Analytics, Negotiation skills, PMI financial knowledge, Presenting and Facilitation (TTT)

 Annual Base Salary Range: $156,750 - $209,000
