This position sits with our Swedish Match affiliate.

 

PMI U.S., a rapidly growing consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturer and market leader of well-known smokeless tobacco products, nicotine ZYN pouch products, as well as complementary products, is currently seeking a Manager Digital Loyalty. The successful candidate will manage strategy, planning and execution of PMI U.S. promotional offers delivered through our Retail Customers’ digital loyalty platforms as well as a team of Sr. Digital Loyalty Account Specialists.

 

Your ‘day to day’:

    • Identify, build, and administer quarterly promotional plans through collaboration with Trade Marketing, RGM, Field Sales Account and Retailer’s Loyalty teams.
    • Oversight of promotional plans across key trade partners to ensure alignment with go-to-market strategy.
    • Ownership and accountability of performance and execution in key trade partners.
    • Supports team of account managers in engaging with customers to drive best-in-class promotional strategies.
    • Prioritize and recommend customer programs that prominently display and promote PMI U.S. brands while enhancing brand equity and delivering ROI for the company.
    • Assess and evaluate the business results of assigned customers and recommend strategies and change strategies if necessary.
    • Develop preferred relationships with customer's key decision-makers at all levels within the customer organization. These relationships will uniquely involve members of a chain’s Marketing, Digital Loyalty and Category Management teams.
    • Gain and communicate a thorough understanding of competitive customer loyalty programs and strategies.
    • Review customer accounts to include assessment process; recommend improved strategies where needed.
    • Understand customer and consumer needs and provide value-added products.
    • Understand and utilize various data systems to evaluate customer loyalty program performance and identify opportunities to drive efficiency and expand customer loyalty program reach.
    • Play a key role in digital loyalty program trade spending budgets and forecasts.
    • Function as a key contributor to the Digital Loyalty team’s strategy development and long-term strategic roadmap.
    • Build strong cross-functional relationships with RGM, Sales Strategy & Analytics, Trade Marketing, Brand and Insights, Data & Analytics.
    • Build and effectively manage a team of three Sr. Digital Loyalty Account Specialists, each with additional key account responsibilities, building their capabilities and strategic thinking.

 

Who we’re looking for:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Commerce, or related field or equivalent experience in digital loyalty strategy and key account engagement.
    • Five years+ of sales experience with food, convenience, or mass merchandise channels of trade in a consumer goods area.
    • Familiarity with current and emerging loyalty and CRM trends.
    • Preferred loyalty program campaign experience.
    • Strong planning, organization, leadership, analytical, and teamwork skills are required.
    • Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
    • Proficient computer skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required.
    • Accomplished presentation skills, including the ability to develop and deliver effective fact-based presentations in a persuasive format.
    • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Annual Base Salary Range: $112,500-150,000
