The Acquisition Programs Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing consumer engagement programs that drive customer acquisition and conversion. This role develops and manages strategic initiatives such as product trials, referral marketing (both consumer and employee), test drive programs, and other acquisition-driven experiences.
Working closely with CX Managers, Channel Heads, and cross-functional teams, the Acquisition Programs Manager ensures seamless execution of high-priority projects that contribute to business growth. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, program execution, data-driven decision-making, and stakeholder management to maximize impact and return on investment.
Your ‘day to day’:
- Co-develop and refine the overall acquisition programs strategy, aligning it with broader CX and business priorities
- Work closely with CX Managers, Channel Heads, and Program Owners to conceptualize, test, and implement state-of-the-art acquisition initiatives
- Develop full business cases for new programs, outlining objectives, success metrics, required resources, and expected impact
- Ensure program alignment with CX strategy, maximizing synergy between cross-functional initiatives
- Lead the end-to-end execution of complex acquisition programs, ensuring timely deployment and adherence to strategic goals
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, identifying key milestones, dependencies, and potential risks
- Apply project management best practices, ensuring efficient coordination of internal and external teams
- Leverage available budget and resources effectively to deliver high-impact results within defined constraints
- Track and evaluate the performance of acquisition programs against business case objectives and key KPIs
- Use an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and data-driven approach to test, iterate, and refine program execution
- Identify performance gaps and implement adjustments based on real-time consumer insights and market feedback
- Provide recommendations for scaling successful programs or discontinuing ineffective initiatives
- Lead and coordinate multi-functional project teams, ensuring smooth collaboration between marketing, sales, finance, and digital teams
- Manage project team meetings, defining objectives, aligning agendas, and ensuring clarity in decision-making
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation across teams
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing data-backed recommendations and influencing program direction
- Own budget planning and resource allocation for acquisition programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities
- Track investment efficiency, optimizing program spend for maximum impact
- Provide budget performance reports, identifying areas for cost savings and improved ROI
- Lead budget negotiations with key stakeholders, securing funding for strategic initiatives
- Ensure all programs comply with legal, ethical, and corporate governance standards
- Maintain the highest standards of integrity while executing acquisition initiatives
- Proactively assess risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect the organization’s reputation and sustainability
Who we’re looking for:
- Ability to conceptualize and execute customer acquisition initiatives that drive tangible business impact
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, data analytics, and marketing strategy
- Expertise in end-to-end program deployment, including planning, execution, and optimization
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and MVP-driven decision-making
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in using data to optimize program performance
- Ability to derive actionable insights from customer behavior, program metrics, and market trends
- Proven ability to manage and influence internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to drive alignment across cross-functional teams
- Experience in managing large program budgets, ensuring ROI-driven investment strategies
- Ability to track, analyze, and adjust budget allocations based on program performance
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Customer Experience, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, commercial planning, or project management
- Experience in multi-product, multi-category, or multi-channel businesses is an asset
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
- Prior experience in data analytics, financial modeling, and customer engagement programs is highly desirable
Annual Base Salary Range: $140,250 - $187,000
