As a Senior Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and developing the assigned territory by designing and driving a comprehensive territory strategy aligned with overall business objectives. This role ensures the effective deployment of commercial initiatives, trade programs, and brand campaigns through a dedicated team of Trade Activators. You will lead all aspects of the team members' progress, development, and motivation daily to achieve business objectives and important metrics in the assigned territory. You will coordinate the field deployment of some key multi-category projects on a regional level in a close collaboration with rest Sales Supervisors.

 

Your ‘day to day’:

  • Aligning with the overarching Commercial strategy and based on identified market opportunities within complex territories, developing and implementing actionable territory plans that reflecting local market dynamics, consumer behavior, and business priorities.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the territory through systematic gathering, monitoring, and analysis of market intelligence.
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date CRM data on Trade Segmentation parameters for all POS.
  • Prioritizing resources efficiently in line with channel priorities and territory objectives to improve availability and handling of multi-category products.
  • Controlling execution of signed agreements, analyzing return on investment on regular basis and propose improvement actions.
  • Translating monthly KPIs into clear team objectives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and sales cycles.
  • Observing performance of both individuals and groups, providing practical feedback, and implementing improvement strategies to foster reliable outcomes and operational superiority.
  • Analyzing key business metrics and sales reports to identify areas for improvement. Developing and proposing actionable plans to enhance performance and driving growth.
  • Ensuring team readiness and alignment with territory strategy and business objectives, enabling consistent execution of strategies, activities, and campaigns in the field.
  • Fostering a high-performing team culture through effective leadership, clear communication, and structured performance management.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with local key accounts on regional level to ensure consistent commercial performance and long-term partnership.
  • Serving as the primary contact, coordinating field operations, negotiating trade agreements, and aligning with company goals.
  • Establishing and nurturing strong business relationships with trade partners across General Trade, LKA, and KA channels at the territory level, ensuring a robust and active communication network that supporting acquisition volume in the Indirect channel within a multi-category environment.
  • Driving retailer and retail staff engagement in lead generation and loyalty programs through effective use of digital and non-digital trade engagement tools.
  • Driving individual and team growth through targeted training, continuous on-the-job trainings (OJT), and competency building.
  • Supporting career progression and capability enhancement by identifying development needs and implementing tailored learning initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of feedback, mentoring, and accountability to elevate team impact and engagement. Become preferred partner, build loyal collaboration by engaging retailers and staff in digital platform and transform the trade into true / active brand ambassadors.
  • Build effective territory team of third-party field forces by organizing, developing and supervising their performance and capabilities.
  • Coordinating multi-category deployment projects on a regional level with close collaboration with rest Field Sales Supervisors

 

Who we’re looking for:

  • University or College degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of Proven experience in FMCG sector or tobacco industry, preferably in field sales management.
  • Proven people development and people leadership skills.
  • Excellent collaboration in cross-functional projects.
  • Experience in 3rd parties’ management.
  • Time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to adapt in evolving situation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bulgarian.
  • A dynamic and proactive approach.
  • Active driver with valid driving license
