As Regional Commercial Manager, you will be the strategic leader for your assigned region, driving commercial excellence across multiple channels and categories. You will design and execute regional strategies, lead large teams, and ensure flawless deployment of our multi-category calendar through B2B and B2C field forces.

 

 

Your ‘day to day’:

 

Regional Strategy

  • Drive annual regional strategic plans and city-level plans aligned with PMI’s overarching commercial vision.
  • Analyze market opportunities within complex territories and develop actionable plans reflecting local dynamics, consumer behavior, and business priorities.
  • Prioritize resources efficiently to maximize product availability and visibility across channels.
  • Manage the regional budget for allowances and ensure optimal allocation.

 

Team Leadership

  • Monitor team and individual performance, provide actionable feedback, and implement improvement strategies to achieve operational excellence.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, mentoring, and engagement to build high-performing teams.
  • Build strong partnerships with retailers and transform trade partners into active brand ambassadors through digital engagement and loyalty programs.
  • Oversee third-party field forces services as per negotiated contracts.

 

People Development

  • Drive continuous growth through targeted training, on-the-job development, and competency building.
  • Support career progression by identifying development needs and implementing tailored learning initiatives.
  • Ensure fast and effective onboarding in collaboration with the Commercial Capability Development team.

 

Commercial Deployment

  • Ensure flawless execution of activities in B2C channels with accurate consumer profiling and brand narratives.
  • Drive retailer engagement in lead generation and PMBG loyalty programs using digital and non-digital tools.
  • Proper follow-up and coordination of the B2C & B2B Supervisors team
  • Oversee CRM data accuracy for trade segmentation and monitor execution of agreements, analysing ROI and proposing improvements.
  • Controlling execution of signed agreements, analyzing return on investment on regular basis and propose improvement actions

 

Performance Management

  • Translate KPIs into clear team objectives and ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Accountable for reaching main company KPIs within the assigned region
  • Monitor and analyse key metrics to identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and processes.

 

Consumer Insights & Regional Expertise

  • Gather and analyse market intelligence to maintain a deep understanding of territory dynamics.
  • Monitor consumer trends and feed insights back into the organization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and trade partners across all channels to secure long-term growth.

 

Who we’re looking for:

  • University or College degree.
  • Minimum 7 years of Proven experience in FMCG sector, Retail business or tobacco industry, preferably in field sales management.
  • Proven leadership and people development skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a growth mindset.
  • Excellent collaboration in cross-functional projects.
  • Time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to adapt in evolving situation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bulgarian.
  • A dynamic and proactive approach.
  • Active driver with valid driving license
