As a BI Developer will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights through creating compelling visualizations and supporting decision-making processes across the organization.

Your ‘day to day’:

• Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining BI reporting suites, including dataflow, semantic models, frontend reports, dashboards, and BI solutions. Develop, produce, and deliver one-off management information to provide insights and aid decision-making.
• Develop and build data visualizations using appropriate techniques and tools while following UI/UX guidelines. Source, prepare, and integrate data for analysis from diverse business and operational processes.
• Crafting and sharing generic and personalized reports aligned with interested party preferences. Operationalize and automate the production of data visuals for efficient and timely delivery.
• Engaging with interested parties to prototype and refine visualizations and reports.
• Ensuring data quality and integrity to provide confidence in decision-making.
• Contributing to the exploration and experimentation of new data visualization approaches.
• Collaborating with Data Business Analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into visualizations.
• Advising on the accurate use of data visualization tools and techniques for various purposes and contexts.

Who we’re looking for:

• College or University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as BI developer or similar role
• Competence in modern data visualization strategies and resources.
• Knowledge of DAX, Python and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics.
• Sound understanding and proven experience of business intelligence concepts and tools, including SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Proficient in applying data storage solutions like Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or open-source databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with data modeling and data integration techniques to ensure data quality.
• Desirable - certification in relevant technologies such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty, or equivalent.
• Effective communication skills in presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
