Your ‘day to day’

As a Brand Engagement Manager, you will develop a Brand Engagement strategy for special events and to improve our Consumer Experience, following market plans and aligning with global and SEE strategies.

You will identify business opportunities with both existing and new Business Partners, with the main objective to lead our transformation to multi-category business model and convert Legal Age Smokers to smoke-free products through effective events, programmes, and tools.

You will adapt Communities & Collaboration strategies to market needs, manage budgets for the market Brand Engagement stream, set and monitor KPIs, and ensure activity reporting.

Additionally, you will lead both internal and external teams and work closely with SEE stream leads.

 

  • Events: Tailor and implement our event strategy in line with the business plan, in line with multi-category strategy focusing on innovative ways to connect with legal age smokers and encourage conversion to smoke-free products improving brand equity and strengthening Philip Morris position.
  • Adapt loyalty and consumer engagement strategies for the market, supporting our transformation and delivering measurable results. Working across teams, set clear KPIs, and ensure successful on-market execution.
  • Develop our Consumer engagement strategy & create market deployment plan to lead our transformation to multi-category business model via highly effective mechanics; Facilitates effective collaboration with other streams within the organization; sets and follows up on KPIs. Defines & monitors budgets.
  • Communities & Collaboration: With guidance from global & regional leads, you’ll roll out plans to maximise reach and brand impact, both online and offline. You’ll set performance indicators, manage content agencies, and ensure return on investment.
  • Investment strategy: In alignment with relevant partners, ensure in-market planning, initiating and managing of contracting Events related partners and 3rd parties/agencies to enable targeted investment. Support preparation of functional budgets to implement Brand Engagement Strategy and annual plans. Manages, monitors and ensures appropriate resource allocation and cost-effective budget utilization. Evaluates and proposes the most effective solutions to optimize contracts
  • People Management: Lead, empower and develop both internal and external teams, ensuring projects are delivered with excellence and that everyone could grow and succeed.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Ensure effective collaboration as all activities are aligned and supported with business priorities with other commercial streams, to maximise the impact of the initiatives.
  • Compliance: Always act with integrity, upholding all relevant laws and PMI’s principles to support our long-term goals.

 

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 10 years’ experience in the field of marketing of which at least 5 years in brand engagement, ideally with exposure to both agency and client sides
  • Experience developing strategies with focus on experience and engagement
  • Strong knowledge of digital platforms and social media
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Creative thinker with strong analytical abilities
  • Driving licence (held for at least one year)
  • Fluent in English and the local language
