Your 'day to day'

 

As a Team Lead Finance Systems Governance, you will coordinate the design, build and deployment of Finance Global PBF&R system solutions and processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data. You will engage with collaborators to understand current and future business requirements and their impact on the finance system landscape by acting as an intermediary between Finance, Business and IT Teams, ensuring that technology solutions meet the business needs. You will also identify areas of improvement and opportunities to deliver increased value to the business. Apart from these, you will foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, ensuring high levels of motivation and engagement in the team.

 

More specifically, you will

 

  • Act as SME in solution building or process redesign projects, ensuring they deliver the expected business outcomes. Validate and coordinate the design, build and deployment of Finance Global PBF&R system solutions and processes, understanding the global structure of the systems used and the links between the various systems. Ensure that the team implements acceptance testing and supports worldwide user community to adopt usage of existing or new functionalities. Analyse system metrics and act upon results regarding adoption & performance.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of master data and transactional data used in PBF&R finance applications and that overall system is end user ready and updated as per PMI Instructions and target dates. Communicate regularly with partners to provide updates on data integrity and system readiness. Ensure that any issues are promptly handled and resolved.
  • Develop, document, and enforce SOPs for data management and system updates. Regularly review and update these procedures to reflect standard processes and changes in PMI principles.
  • Work closely with business partners to understand their requirements and translate these into system specifications. Facilitate effective communication between the IT and business collaborators such as GPO, PMO and others, ensuring that expectations are managed and met. Present regular updates and reports to senior management and other partners.
  • Supervise and continuously evolve our Finance application and data landscape, by designing, rolling out and continuously improving processes used within the Team and across the relevant partners. Encourage a culture of innovation within the team, promoting the exploration of new technologies and methodologies.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Mentor and develop team members, helping them to achieve their professional goals and improve their skills. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, handle challenges, and share knowledge.

 

Who we're looking for

 

  • University Degree in Business Management, Information Management; Business Analytics; Statistics and Econometrics; Finance; Data Science; Computer Science or similar
  • Work experience minimum 5 years ideally in multinational environment in the areas of finance, data analytics or systems and information management
  • Solid knowledge of one or more financial systems and tools and ideally past experience with Financial Applications and programming languages (SQL)
  • Understanding of financial processes in corporate environment
  • Experienced people, performance and talent manager with proactive & curious demeanor
  • Good communication skills: demonstrated ability to articulate and translate into action technical and operational subjects
  • Analytical mindset with advanced MS Office skills
  • Proficient English speaker who feels at ease in a multinational work environment
