Main Purpose of the Job

The Sr Tech Domain Architect - Consumer&Commercial Data supports the evolution of Data and AI capabilities across PMI Tech, through architecture assessments, technology evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and capability validation initiatives.The role contributes to the development of Data & AI domain strategies and capability roadmaps by providing architectural analysis, recommendations, reusable patterns, and evidence-based guidance derived from experimentation and delivery experience.Working closely with Product Group Architects, Solution Architects, Engineering teams, and Domain Architecture leadership, the architect helps evaluate opportunities, validate architectural approaches, reduce implementation risks, and accelerate adoption of strategic capabilities.

This role is a hands-on Domain Architect contributing to Data & AI strategy through validation, experimentation, and architectural analysis rather than owning strategy or roadmap definition.The primary value of the role is to generate evidence, insights, recommendations, and reusable architectural patterns that help Domain Architecture leadership make informed investment and capability decisions. 

Key Responsibilities 

Architecture Assessment & Validation

• Assess architecture approaches and technology options for Data & AI initiatives.
• Support architecture reviews and design evaluations.
• Identify architectural risks, dependencies, gaps, and opportunities.
• Produce architecture recommendations based on business and technology needs.
• Contribute architectural input to strategic planning activities.

Data & AI Capability Evolution

Contribute to the advancement of capabilities such as:

• Data Products
• Data Availability and Sharing
• Data Quality Capabilities
• Data Observability
• Data Governance Capabilities
• AI-ready Data Foundations
• AI Enabling Services
• Data Platforms and Ecosystems

POCs, Pilots & Innovation

• Lead proof-of-concepts and pilot initiatives.
• Validate emerging technologies, tools, and architectural approaches.
• Assess feasibility, value, risks, and adoption considerations.
• Develop recommendations based on outcomes and findings.
• Identify opportunities for capability reuse across products and platforms.
• Create reference implementations and reusable patterns where appropriate.

Architecture Enablement & Community Contribution

• Contribute to Domain Architecture and Data Community of Practice activities.
• Share lessons learned, findings, patterns, and best practices.
• Produce architecture guidance and reusable artefacts.
• Support Product Group Architects and Solution Architects on Data & AI topics.
• Promote adoption of approved architecture patterns and capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications 

• • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in Architecture, Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Data Engineering.
  • Knowledge of: Data Platforms, Cloud Technologies, Data Architecture, AI Architecture Design, Integration Patterns
  • Experience conducting architecture assessments, pilots, or proof-of-concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Would be considered a plus:

• AWS Data & AI Services.
• AI / GenAI technologies.
• Modern data platforms and ecosystems.
• Innovation and technology evaluation experience.

*In case of being hired in Poland, in this position you will earn no less than PLN 21 800 gross per month.
