Your Day to day: 

  • Understand business plans and priorities in Tabaqueira IT Operations domain and lead the deployment/development of the IT systems necessary for successful rollout; 

  • Facilitate deployment, localization and support of global/core business system solutions including integration with other systems and data alignment in order to satisfy business requirements; 

  • Proactively identify business requirements not supported by the available IT portfolio and agree local tactical solution for those in close collaboration with IT Operations Platform in line with demand management process; 

  • Design, build and deployment of the local IT solutions including integration with other systems and data alignment in order to satisfy local business requirements; 

  • Provide maintenance and support for global and local system solutions in operations domain; 

  • Plan and track resources (budget, people, …) in line with business plans and priorities following the guidelines defined by Central IT; 

  • Lead projects of medium/large complexity; 

  • Adhere to relevant policies, procedures and standards in order to achieve quality and compliance of solution and services;

 

If you have: 

  • An analytical mind with university degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Automation & Robotics, Engineering or equivalent;   

  • A professional with min. 5 years proven track of experience in supporting and/or deploying IT systems (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance areas experience is an asset); 

  • IT knowledge - Experience in MS SQL and/or MS SSRS, knowledge of MS Windows Server & Client environment 

  • Additional domain experience would be advantage (Understanding of MES, LES, SCADA class of systems, Industry 4.0, IoT, AWS cloud); 

  • Experience with Agile Software Development / Deployment; 

  • Strongly developed continuous improvement mindset & project management skills (Project Management experience is an asset); 

  • Application Development knowledge and knowledge of DEVOPS concepts (experience with C#, .NET etc. will be considered as plus); 

  • An action-oriented individual, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ready to work in a challenging business environment; 

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English language.

  • Understanding of business solution delivery and lifecycle management;

  • Excellent analytical skills; 

  • Service management, Project management, People management and Stakeholder management; 

  • Customer driven approach; 

  • Ability to work within international environment.

  • Take active part or lead implementations of new systems/ digital initiatives in the Manufacturing area as part of our Industry 4.0 journey.  

  • Provide IT run & support services to our internal customers, acting as service provider for selected applications – ensuring compliance with KPIs and adherence to technical roadmaps.   

  • Act as the main speaking partner for the business stakeholders, solution architects, development teams, central Service & Project Managers for systems under responsibility.  

  • Elicit, collect and document functional & technical requirements in collaboration with relevant experts, plan and coordinate change requests and maintain documentation.
