Purpose of the Role
Support scientific and medical engagement activities that promote understanding of PMI science, Tobacco Harm Reduction (THR) principles and Reduced Risk Products (RRPs) among healthcare professionals, scientific stakeholders and other relevant audiences.

The role supports scientific communications, stakeholder engagement, evidence dissemination and scientific events, while translating complex scientific evidence into clear and impactful communications.

Principal Accountabilities

• Support local scientific engagement plans and initiatives to increase understanding of PMI science and THR.
• Build relationships with healthcare professionals, researchers, scientific associations and other key stakeholders.
• Support scientific meetings, advisory boards, educational initiatives, conferences and congresses.
• Prepare scientific summaries, presentations, briefings and educational materials.
• Monitor scientific publications and emerging evidence related to THR, nicotine science, toxicology, exposure reduction and public health.
• Provide scientific insights to support stakeholder engagement and internal decision-making.
• Support internal scientific training, literature reviews and local research initiatives.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Toxicology, Public Health, Biology or a related scientific discipline.
• Master's degree is an advantage.

Experience

• 8-10 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, Medical Communications, Medical Information, Medical Science Liaison, Public Health or related scientific roles.
• Experience engaging healthcare professionals or scientific stakeholders is desirable.
• Experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare, consumer health or other regulated industries is preferred.
