Joining the Digital Products Portfolio

The Digital Consumer Engagement Products portfolio plays a critical role in delivering PMI’s Smoke-Free Future. We are enabling digital services to our consumers and retailers by building platforms to communicate our vision to broader society. Together with talent from multiple business and technology functions across our footprint, we are delivering a premium experience for our consumers.

When you join this team, you will work in a dynamic, diverse, and warm environment. You will be primarily focusing on defining your Digital Product vision, regularly engaging with your customers to gather feedback and understand their needs in order to maximize value. You will be part of all stages of Digital Product incremental value delivery.

What’s the purpose of this role?

As Head of IT Delivery, you are accountable to end-to-end delivery of Digital Products in the Digital Product Group you co-own. This will require the mobilization and coordination of various cross-functional Agile Teams as well as excellence in stakeholder management to ensure Digital Product Teams are focusing on the right thing. You will make sure that all teams involved in technical design, development, testing, and release management are delivering what the internal stakeholders expect.

Together with Product Manager and the Product Group Architect you will co-own definition and execution of the Digital Product Group strategy.

You are accountable to make sure that all teams will deliver agreed functional and non-functional requirements, on schedule, at cost and quality. You will be the go-to person when it comes to the functional and technical roadmap of your domain.

You are relentless in your pursuit of excellence, even when that means challenging the status-quo. You are the champion of delivering solutions that meet the needs of the business design team and are loved by your users and customers. You’ll be acutely aware that transformation requires a ‘roll up the sleeves’ mentality.

Role profile

· Aware of all demands linked to CDP & Data area.

· Manage end-to-end delivery of Digital Product Teams within CDP product group.

· Go-to person for the delivery status of Digital Products in your area.

· Coordinate, mobilize and synchronize all Product Teams and product backlogs to ensure the proper delivery of the Digital Product Group strategy.

· Serve as the subject matter expert within the organization and as the primary point of contact for the delivery of the product group.

· Be the ‘glue’ that brings business partners, cross-functional IT teams, markets, and suppliers’ teams together.

Your day-to-day

· In collaboration with Product Manager and Product Group Architect, create Digital Product Group vision and enable Product Teams to deliver value to the customer.

· Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders.

· Assess demand impacting Digital Product Group Roadmap and provide feedback on the delivery timeline.

· Align and manage product dependencies throughout overall release plan.

· Agree and secure required capacity for impacted products priorities.

· Deliver on time, with quality and agreed scope.

· Provide regular delivery updates for Digital Product Group.

· Propose improvements to Product Owners

· Identify Risks and Mitigation across Digital Product Group

· Work with release team to plan deployment and maintain documentation

· Manage budget and cost for the Product Group along with Product Group Manager.

What is needed to succeed in this Role?

· Bachelor’s degree or Master’s – ideally in an IT related field

· At least 15+ years of experience in IT technology, 10+ years of experience within the CDP domain

· Experience with Big Data Technology, segmentation, graph technology, AWS Glue, EMR, Spark, Neptune.

· Ability to deliver results in global, matrixed environments comprised of internal and external stakeholders.

· Competence to solve problems with information available and manage converging priorities

· Strong sense of accountability.

· Demonstrated ability in building, launching and growing products.

· Proven track record in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments.

· Strong skills in communication, writing, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

· Hands-on experience in designing and implementing Data/CDP solutions.

· Understanding of CI/CD and complex Release Management.

· Experience working with SCRUM and Kanban.
