Joining Product & Operations IT 

Within IT, the IT Product and Operations team is an experienced, nimble & expert team composed of multiple sub streams. The main purpose of the team is to lead the digital strategy and transformation of Operations and Products functions through effective business partnering and conceptualizing, delivering and supporting state of the art and secure IT technologies across the end-to-end value chain.

What’s the purpose of this role? 

Manage the IT Systems team to deliver all systems solutions and associated services required by business function in an optimum and secure way by leveraging PMI information services. 

Your day-to-day 

• Manage the deployment, localization and support of global/core business system solutions including integration with other systems and data alignment in order to satisfy business requirements 

• Understand business needs, define IT solutions from the Global IT offering to deliver IT services required by the function. 

• Understand and promote the Global Application Portfolio. 

• Proactively identify business requirements not supported by the Global Application Portfolio, communicate and agree the solution with the Global function. 

• Manage the design, development and maintenance of local solutions for the business function following the global PMI standards and procedures. 

• Deliver IT Services in an optimum way (timely, cost effective, secure, stable, reliable and user-friendly, both from IT and user perspective) to maximize efficiency in the respective functional area. 

• Manage external and internal service providers to ensure that service levels are met. 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with business units (e.g. Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality), central functions and cluster partners. Actively collaborate with all entities to guarantee that business requirements are met in an efficient way. 

• Manage and build a flexible, agile and innovative IT organization that attracts, develops and retains the best global talent in order to deliver IT solutions required by PMI, currently and in the future. 

• Support development of a vision for future global developments of technology solutions fitting future needs. 

What is needed to succeed in this Role? 

If you have:  

• An analytical mind with university degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Automation & Robotics, Engineering or equivalent.    

• Experience in multinational Co., incl people management experience. 

• 6-10 years proven track of experience in deploying IT systems (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance areas experience is an asset).  

• Service management experience (ITIL certification is a plus) 

• Experience in project management (both Waterfall and Agile). Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus 

• Experience working in/with IT Product and Service Teams 

• Strongly developed continuous improvement mindset. 

• An action-oriented individual, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ready to work in a challenging business environment.  

• Strong customer focus and consumer centric mindset 

• Additional domain experience would be advantage (Understanding of MES, LES, SCADA class of systems, Industry 4.0, IoT, AWS cloud);  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization 

• Fluency in spoken and written English 

How can you make history with us? 

• Lead implementations of new systems/ digital initiatives in the Manufacturing area as part of our Industry 4.0 journey   

• Organize IT run & support services to our internal customers, acting as service provider for selected applications – ensuring compliance with KPIs and adherence to technical roadmaps.    

• Act as the main speaking partner for the business stakeholders, solution architects, development teams, central Service & Project Managers for systems under responsibility   

• Elicit, collect and document functional & technical requirements in collaboration with relevant experts, plan and coordinate change requests and maintain documentation.
