The IT Manager AI Technology drives the strategic alignment between PMI’s AI technology landscape and enterprise priorities. The role supports PMI Tech by translating business needs and initiatives into scalable AI technology direction, consolidating enterprise AI technology roadmaps, and supporting the definition of coherent domain architectures that enable sustainable, secure, and value-driven AI outcomes.

This manager ensures a consistent definition and adoption of AI capability framework and standards across the Domain Architecture community and the different organizations. The role serves as a connective layer between business functions, domain architects, solution architects and technology delivery teams - ensuring technical coherence, prioritization, and long-term platform evolution across the AI ecosystem.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

• AI Capability Definition
• Review, co-create and enhance the AI capability models based on technology evolution.
• Define global requirements for AI capabilities as input for creation reference architectures, together with Enterprise and Domain Architects.
• Manage the overall AI capability framework that spans across different organizational entities.
• Monitors maturity and adoption of the capability frameworks and its related technologies.
• Domain Architecture Support
• Support the definition and evolution of AI-related domain architectures in collaboration with enterprise and domain architects.
• Work closely together with solution architects to guide and align AI solution design.
• Develop AI architecture patterns and assets to streamline and accelerate the design of AI solutions.
• Ensures alignment on AI architecture across domain architect community and the monitors the adoption of AI standards within PMI Tech.
• Stakeholder Coordination & Governance
• Act as a key coordination point between business functions, IT Platforms, architects, and technology delivery teams.
• Support governance forums by preparing consolidated technology views on roadmaps, dependencies, risks, and architectural trade-offs.
• Enable informed decision-making through clear, structured, and insight-driven technology materials.
• Portfolio Insight & Continuous Improvement
• Monitor technology roadmap execution, identify misalignments or overlaps, and proactively propose corrective actions.
• Capture lessons learned and continuously improve technology strategy, roadmap frameworks, and planning artefacts.
• Support standardization of AI technology planning and roadmap practices across the AI Technology Transformation landscape.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• University degree or equivalent professional / life experience in Computer Sciences / Information Technology
• Technology Strategy & Roadmapping: Experience defining and aligning digital technology strategies and demands in complex enterprise environments.
• Enterprise & Domain Architecture Exposure: Experience working with enterprise and domain architects on target-state architectures and platform evolution.
• Stakeholder Management & Influencing: Strong ability to work with senior business and technology leaders to align priorities and manage trade-offs.
• Executive Communication: Skilled in creating high-quality, structured materials for leadership discussions and technology governance forums.
• Experience operating in complex, matrixed technology organizations
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving technology strategies
• Self-driven, structured, and highly accountable
• Strong strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capability
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across technology domains
• Strong collaboration and facilitation skills
• Curious and passionate about AI, data platforms, and emerging technologies
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
