Position Title:  Associate Engineer, Aerosol

Role Summary

To develop aerosol systems towards enabling of inhalation studies in accordance to stipulated requirements (eg. GLP, ISO, EHS&S).

To improve and advance capabilities in the area of aerosol generation, transport and delivery, and characterization

Responsibilities

• Serve as a study lead to coordinate and be responsible for the following activities in accordance with stipulated regulations:

- inhalation system setup

- test item management

- operation and maintenance

- system qualification

- aerosol generation and characterization

- data review and compilation

• Lead the development, assessment and implementation of technical alternatives and improvements for aerosol characterization, aerosol systems and processes
• Lead the data analysis, troubleshooting, root cause determination, and implementation of changes to achieve aerosol quality and compliance with stipulated requirements
• Author and conduct training for standard operating procedures in accordance with stipulated regulations
• Lead and execute Capital Expenditure projects to achieve business continuity and advancement
• Serve as a subject matter expert (e.g. write and review technical reports, perform literature review, contact point for stakeholders, support audits) for aerosol characterization, aerosol systems and processes
• Manage the maintenance of equipment and to ensure the availability of laboratory supplies
• Ensure proper upkeep of the laboratory

Requirement

• At least graduate Diploma or Degree in equipment, process, aerosol engineering or other relevant engineering/science fields
• Familiar with SCADA or data acquisition systems
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Proficient in MS word, Excel, Powerpoint.
